Looking for career inspiration?
Here’s why we think it’s great to work for Nouvita Healthcare
It's rewarding
Working in the care industry can, without a doubt, be challenging, but the rewards far outweigh the challenges. You will support those in our care to reach their fullest potential and gain immense satisfaction from seeing them progress.
You will also work with a friendly team of experienced colleagues who will support you and make your job more enjoyable.
It's flexible
Working in care offers different working patterns, meaning you’ll likely find the right hours to suit your lifestyle. Shifts that vary from the usual 9 am to 5 pm often result in a better work/life balance.
If you prefer to work on a more ad-hoc basis, you can explore joining our bank staff, which could allow you to work one day a week or just a few days a month to suit your time and commitments.
Learn while you earn at the Nouvita Academy
We invest in training and developing our team to the highest standard. The Nouvita Academy starts with your corporate induction and offers many learning opportunities, from those run by our in-house trainers to external and accredited training. Training is a mix of face-to-face and online learning and ongoing coaching and mentoring to help you excel in your job.
We take your continuous development seriously, so the cost of our in-house courses and the time taken to complete your training is paid for by Nouvita.
Improve your career progression opportunities
We have expertise in specialist areas of mental health and learning disabilities. By joining Nouvita, you can learn the skills to become an expert and progress within your chosen field.
“Thank you Nouvita for the chance you have given me to develop
and grow professionally”

We have also recently launched our training incentive scheme, whereby retail discounts and savings can be earned by completing training courses.
At some of our locations, we provide free lunch to staff when they are on shift, and there is also access to free hot drinks at all locations.
Whilst uniform isn’t mandatory across all services, you will be issued a Nouvita polo shirt to make you look and feel like part of our team.
We are a friendly team and regularly organise pizza nights, social events, and Christmas parties.

This is a care home unlike any other. In all my years as a carer/support worker I experienced many.. including the good, the bad, and the ugly! Greenwood Cottage outstrips all others. I worked here previously and then took time out to care for my elderly parents and bring up a family. I went back into caring in the community and then care homes big, and small.
When a job came up here at Greenwood Cottage four years ago, I jumped at it; some of the residents are even still here, and standards haven’t changed. So I’m now back working with a great team of trained girls and guys who really do care about the people who live here and treat each resident with huge kindness and the respect they deserve.
Lynda Clarke,
Support Worker
Greenwood Cottage
I joined Nouvita in 2016 as a Support Worker and then became an Activity Coordinator in 2018. In 2023. I was supported by Nouvita to train as a Breakaway and PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) trainer, and now deliver training sessions alongside Nouvita’s training manager.
I would recommend Nouvita to anyone as a place where you can start your journey and become a valuable member of the healthcare workforce. I can say that Nouvita HR and management team is fully dedicated to promote staff development and I know that without their support I would not be able to achieve my goals and be where I’m now.
Tomasz Machnikowski
Activity Coordinator & PMVA Trainer
I started at Nouvita as a support worker in 2015 and since then have had a whirlwind career, having been promoted to team leader, deputy home manager, and then registered care home manager within just 7 years. I have had such great support from the Nouvita management team, who saw the potential in me before I did! They supported me to attain a level 5 diploma in leadership and management in health and social care and encouraged me to progress. Although my progression through different roles has been quick, I’ve never felt alone, as both the management team and my colleagues have fully supported me.
I love my work, the people we support are like family to me, and I consider myself lucky to be working with such amazing people.
